A.R.R.O.W. is a unique Self-Voice program which uses specific installation/sound setup procedures. Usually A.R.R.O.W. is implemented through a DVD system which can be used either independently on laptop or desk-based computers, or networked throughout a school/college. A.R.R.O.W. can however also be implemented in a non-DVD environment. A.R.R.O.W. offers advice and back up support in conjunction with either school/college - based IT personnel,or appointed
independent IT contractors. A.R.R.O.W. can offer, under certain circumstances, a set up service for non-computer literate persons.
Pentium 233MMX or higher – English (United Kingdom) Keyboard - 32Mb RAM for Windows 7 or higher - 8Gb Hard Disk space to install the program, The first set of stereo headset and splitters are supplied gratis. They are not guaranteed so replacements are the responsibility of the user. Replacement headsets must be stereo, not mono.
A.R.R.O.W. Teaching Technology can be operated either as standalone software or through a server and the installer should consider the advantages/disadvantages of either system. Any information given is intended for experienced system administrators only, and reference to the A.R.R.O.W. helpline is strongly recommended. Please note that all computers should be installed and tested prior to training, and ensure that all machines are fully patched and up to date. Please follow the installation manual exactly as prescribed.
As part of the A.R.R.O.W. package, there is an annual licence.
Please note the first five year’s licence is included within the purchase price of £2630.00 + VAT. The month before the licence ends A.R.R.O.W. sends an invoice electronically to the email address supplied (please make sure A.R.R.O.W. has previously been supplied the correct email address). Once payment is received A.R.R.O.W. will automatically update the licence. The school/college will need to reactivate their computers (instructions available in the installation manual).
The licence is currently set at £120 + VAT. (Discounts are available for multiple years). A.R.R.O.W. installation media and all written/training material remain the property of A.R.R.O.W.™ Tuition. The A.R.R.O.W. material may be used by the tutor whilst under licence. Should the licence be withdrawn or allowed to lapse then A.R.R.O.W.™ reserves the right to reclaim the installation media and all materials must be returned upon request.
