It is clear that the standard A.R.R.O.W. literacy approch not only improves reading spelling and comprehension, but has had a knock-on effect with working short term memory for those learners who were assesed. 

Short Term Memory Improvements

Subject MP 35% improvement after 8 hours with the A.R.R.O.W. literacy program.

Subject MP 66% improvement after 8 hours with the A.R.R.O.W. literacy program.

 

 

Subject PR 9% improvement in digit recall.

 

Subject PR 38% improvement in Word recall after 5 hours.

 

The results are almost life changing and confirm the changes first recorded by Dr Lane after higher degree research with Special Needs learners. At schools and units for hearing impaired and moderate and severe learning problem students.

Later research; recorded in Dr Lanes Book, Self-Voice A Major Rethink; strongly indicates similar shifts in Working Short Term Memory with almost 300 adults with learning and communication problems.

These new results from MP and PR come from working at home with minimal tutor support via telephone. The previous results came from a class room type provision delivered by A.R.R.O.W. Tutors
